LONG MAY THEY RUN, SEASON ONE: PHISH!

We wanted to make sure you’ve heard about Long May They Run, a new music documentary podcast series from C13Originals, hosted and written by Dean Budnick, editor of Relix (and a veteran Phish fan). The first season of the podcast is about Phish, which is appropriate, because the podcast’s intent is to discuss iconic touring bands who have had a lasting impact on music culture and the music industry. You can listen to the first several episodes of the podcast here on Apple Podcasts: http://bit.ly/LMTRPodcast.

And here is an audio preview clip of the next episode that debuts tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, featuring Trey discussing the improvisational comedy communication concept of "Yes, and---":

The first two episodes of this season of Long May They Run are about Phish’s music festivals and the substantial impact they have had on Bonnaroo and other events. As you’ll hear, Phish band members and current/former management---and many people close to Phish---were interviewed extensively for this season, and Phish’s music appears in the episodes as well. Apparently, Dean has interviewed more than seventy-five people for this Phishy season of the podcast, including many long-time Phish fans, such as David “ZZYZX” Steinberg, a Mockingbird Foundation Board member, who is in the second episode.

Also, in addition to the new interviews of Phish band members and others close to Phish (e.g., Chris Kuroda!), the series will also feature exclusive archival interviews that Dean conducted with Gregg Allman and others that have never aired before.

Outlive This podcast is so great. The third episode is one of the best podcast episodes I've ever heard, and I am stoked for the next one.
